so what is a good choke  for out to 40yrd.with hevi-3-2-#7.right now I'm shooting a 11-87/28"tube.but man this thing is heavy.

I'd take a look at the Hevi-13 turkey chokes with that gun. They do a good job.

yep,it's a 12ga.. tried the ssx. .643 without good resoughts, and yes the weight does cut down on recoil,but it makes it a bogger too carry the 1.5 miles too the bline.

Sumtoy is putting up some very good numbers making some very nice turkey rigs.  He is doing very well with the hevi 13 loads
