New one from Billy

Just got this box the other day from Billy Buice. I sent him the apple about two years ago.  This is the same apple he made my trumpet from. At first he wasn't sure he could do anything with it as it had a hidden bad spot inside the wood but later he informed me that it may work. After trying a few lids and taking his time with the tuning Billy settled on a really nice osage lid for the box. It was a pleasant surprise when I got home from work to see it on the kitchen counter as I knew he was still tuning and he never called to say he was sending it. All I can say is he knocked this one out of the park. Great turkey all up and down each rail and a great gobble as well. Can't wait to use this one in the woods next year. Oh and we did talk yesterday about doing a smaller version as well along with a scratch box. Love Billy's work and a great man to talk to. A true call making treasure. Thanx for the look.
