Congratulations. That Boar looks like the one I got in Alabama. The European Hog that were released in the US years ago. They are in the South as well as West Virginia. There are domestic pigs that have escaped into the wild as well.
The European Hogs and the Domestic pigs will mate and have Hybrid Pigs.

A lot of places in the south they've imported the European strain of hogs, and they have crossbred with the feral hogs. So we get a mixed variety where I hunt in SC. Some look like Europeans, and some look like ferals.
Congrats on a nice one!! How do you hunt them? Over bait from a treestand or spot and stalk?
