Just Got a New Tumpet

I was just given a beautiful trumpet that was made for me. I have been asked not to say whom I received it from.

Here is most of the info on the trumpet, I left a short bit out as it could give the makers location away.

This trumpet was made from a Maple Tree taken from (Omitted) It was stabilized and the brass parts and Buffalo horn mouth piece is adjustable from a young hen to a old Tom.

The sound is adjusted by loosening the fitting and sliding the mouthpiece in or out. Shortening the call will give a higher tone ( hen) making it longer will give a lower tone (tom). The call is stabilized so cold, heat, or water will not effect it.

Thank you very much for the call, I am still very surprised.

Thanks, can't wait to get arm out of the sling so I can play around with adjustments and all. Going to continue to practice like I do most nights, I do not know why, but I always want to practice after 11:00 P.M. Lucky for me the landlady is hard of hearing.
