One of my projects before next Spring is to find a good gobbling call. I have a Red Wolfe tube I've never been real happy with. I've tried gobbling with lots of box calls but was never satisfied, although my old Lynch World Champ box was pretty good, probably the best I've tried. Now, after visiting the Allen Jenkins site for the first time in years, I see that he has a "Boss Gobbler" call especially and only for gobbling. Have any of you guys tried it? I like the Jenkins calls. If you haven't read "Allen's Story" on his site, it's worth the time.
"This call is made to make the gobble only. It's made of Mahogany and Walnut and has straight grooves in the sides. The rubber bands are for putting tension on the lid when you shake the call to make the gobble. The peg underneath the lid stops the lid at the correct spot."
