Is there any strikers you shouldn't use on slate pot calls. Like a carbon for instance, would it eventually damage the pot.

Not to my knowledge. I use all of my strikers on all of my pots.

Not that I know about. I don't have a carbon striker but I use all my strikers on all my calls.

Carbon striker is fine on slate ...

Carbon or any other striker is ok on any surfaces as long as they sound good.

I've never had a problem either using carbon on slate..

I have not had any problems using a carbon striker on slate.
