Tactical tatr 2 pocket?

I was wondering if someone with this vest could give me an idea as to what the pocket that is inside the box call pouch is for.  The little elastic pocket on the top is for chalk but can't figure out the one inside the pouch.  Striker maybe?

Not personally familiar with that particular vest, but sure it's not to slide the lid in to make it a silent pocket?

I have ran with my Tat'r for 3 seasons now and literally just found that lil pocket on the last day of season.  No earthly idea what that thing is for.  It kinda bugged me for a few days too.  Best I could come up with is chalk and/or striker.

If it was meant for either one of those, the engineer should be fired immediately.

Chalk. At least that's what I use it for.

I carry a compact box call.  The paddle fits in it nicely.  Doesn't seem to rub much chalk off.

Hmmm. Guess I need to look at mine. I noticed the chalk pocket on top. Never noticed one inside. Just the flap to slide the paddle behind to silence the call as mentioned above.
