I have gotten a couple notifications that someone wrote something in the chatroom.  My question is, does everyone get that notification or is that in some way directed at me.  Also, how in the world would I see it if it is meant for me?  Thank you for the help.

I dont know really.  If I click on the notification it tries to open with the heading "old gobbler chatroom" but it never shows anything.  It is way beyond my understanding.  I just didnt want to ignore someone if I was somehow expected to reply to them.

Sounds like a popup blocker blocking it when you try to bring it up, next time hold the control button down when you click on it and that should allow it to come up.

On tapatalk app there is a chatroom for the old gobbler group. I get notifications for some chat room posts but not others.
