What a day in the turkey timber!!

A very good friend of mine asked if I would join him for a hunt, no tag in my pocket so you know I'm in.
Tad and I headed out this morning to the property and he hammered a STUD, this bird started out behind us on the roost at about 100-125 yards and gobbled a bit, flydown and he kept up with it, a few other birds lit up and then this guy started working in, he had a few hens with him as I ran the old CODY call on him, he worked in behind us and seen my DSD set, I had my White Headed Strutter, Submissive hen, Upright and Feeding set. He came in on a line for the White Head and Tad absolutely crushed him at 10 yards as he approached!

He's dead using the White Head!

Spurs: 1 15/16" / the other was broke at 1 1/2"

Im with MK M on those cody world class slates. I have one and personally love it. I have a second on the way as a back up. Also been on CODYs list for a spec 1 legend. Great call.
