Gun:
Remington V3 26" with Vortex Venom Red Dot
Ammo:
Browning TSS #7&9's 3"
Browning TSS #7's 3"
Federal TSS #9's 3"
Field Conditions:
All testing was done at a laser verified 40 yards off a bench in a sled.
All setups have their respective pros and cons for different hunting situations. My personal preference for field hunting is the Browning 7&9 with the JEBS .655 or the Carlson .640 and the Federal #9 at a close second. For a youth hunter I'm going with the JEBS and the Federal #9 for a little wiggle room. I feel the Browning 7&9's and the JEBS .655 probably outshine just a bit for knockdown at a greater distance given the larger shot size and the tightness of the group if that's your thing.
The JEBS .655 and straight #7's would definitely reach out and touch them as well but I think I prefer the 7&9's a bit better out of the JEBS .655 for my personal hunting style.
