First Alabama bird

Lucked into a lonely late morning bird on Saturday. Actually hunted the same bird all morning off the roost. But he had no interest until 10am and I killed him around 11:45 am. My first Alabama bird. Heard 5 or 6 toms on the roost in all directions, none of them were close. This was the 2nd closest at 600-800 yard from my listening spot. He was within 100 yards of my final setup. He sure played games with me but finally came strutting into 25 yards. 3 miles from the truck.

Going to have video up soon.

Congrats!  Looking forward to watching.  I'm glad there are guys out there that have the patience for self filming their hunts.  I image taking on that challenge no doubt has cost some birds.
