WV season is coming soon and I'm getting excited. just need to decide which shotgun to carry....

far left, 870 20ga 21" Trulock choke and shoots Heavy #7's VERY, VERY well

middle, 1100 LT-20 magnum youth turkey 21" RSFT choke and is wicked with LB #6's

far right, my very old friend an 870 12ga 21" that's killed more spring gobblers than you could imagine and will shoot whatever choke, shell brand and shot size you put in it with authority.

all three Shurshot stocks and the Trulock choke came from members on here.

thank everyone on here for the most informative turkey site available. I'm proof you CAN teach an old dog new tricks.

Hey Heartbreak, are those Escort single shots factory threaded or do you have to have them done?  I'm a big NEF guy but I really like that Have in.

Threaded for the hatsan single shot,I have a huglu thread turkey choke that works in it and my pump,the single shot I picked up barely used at work a few years ago.I do not use it turkey hunting but I have killed a lot of grouse with it while away moose hunting,I had it drilled and tapped and put a little reflex sight on it for grouse hunting.It is a nice little gun.I just have others for turkey hunting,the poi was off with just a fiber optic on it.I decided to have it drilled and tapped by a friend and for 20 dollars,It was a great idea.

My good friend is finally going to get his gun hunting licence this summer,he has bow hunted for about 5 years and I plan on giving him my hatsan pump 20 gauge for turkey hunting.I use my others anyway.the single shot hatsan will be a grouse gun for me.
