Lonbeards shoot high
« on: March 15, 2019, 02:30:08 PM »
I just got a new Carlson’s LB choke for my 835, polished the barrel, and set my POI at 10 yds with dove load. When I went to pattern at 20 yards with a 3.5” Lbxr#5 it was almost 3” high and 3” left. So I went back to my POI and reentered at 10 yards. Went back to the 20 yard again and was high and left again. Any thoughts?  This was done in an indoor range.

Did you shoot any longbeard at 10 yards?
Different loads will hit different along with chokes.
The longbeard have been real tight at 20 for some and even walk around a bit with some guns and chokes, how tight is your 20 yards longbeard pattern?

I went to the LB choke because it was a 650 and it was too tight. The new one is like 680 I think.
