Anyone here breed or sell rabbit beagles, if so PM me, I'm looking for a pair of 13"ish male or female. Pups or young dogs preferably.

Buddy you're asking a very loaded question. They're so variable and aren't the same . What kinda speed? How much hunt? What type control? Where you hunt and located?

Sorry guess I should've been more specific. Looming for a medium speed dog, half day dog, need them to be able pack hunt but hunt on their own as well. I'm fairly new to the beagle and rabbit game so I'm trying to base off the guys dogs that I've hunted behind.

Check out beaglesonfire.com. You will not be disappointed with one of his dogs.

Some guys like his dogs but they are grade dogs. There's no history of anything. They can't be trialed, and if you ever breed they won't bring much money. Typically grade pups bring 100 bucks a piece.
The speed of Weir Creeks (he claims to have that influence but who knows) is high w a bit of a lack of line control very often. They are known to hunt hard for a jump but running hit n miss afterward isn't for many. As they age they sometimes get worse until they decline.
Of all the Weir Creeks I've seen I'd own none. Can't take the all over nonsense.
Imo hounds should give accurate, dependable information as to which way game went, not bark willy nilly all over Gods creation at a check.
That's me now, someone else may love em and that's fine but as I said earlier it's a broad brush beagles come under. He said medium speed. Weir Creeks run higher speeds w loosy goosy control.
Understand, nothing said is absolute, just generalizations. Imo best to play the odds game.
To the poster take no offense, if you're a beagler you understand the differences and opinions about them

Good luck in your search! As mentioned the breed is highly variable. Do your homework. go to field trials.see how other dogs work. If you choose a breeder ask to see the stud and bitch hunt.choose a "line" whose pedigree has nothing but hunting in it and that hunts hard. I've raised and been around hounds my whole life. Nothin like it! Have fun training your bracecof Beagles when you get them
