Never done this before so giving it a shot for the first time. May need some guidance.


Looks like it worked. My 5 y/o had a wonderful reaction. Needed a lot more help than the 8 y/o but both had a blast. Other clips to follow.

Thanks man. It wasn't the most successful hunt in terms of squirrels tree'd that day but it was certainly the most rewarding for me. Having all 3 girls out there with me made it so much better.

Had that been my old white dog, he'd have taken those squirrels outta my hand without having to climb me in the process. Every once in a while, a squirrel would hang a bit too low on the tree and he'd peel it off before I'd get to shoot it. Took him out with a buddy one day and we killed 8. Well, we killed 5. Dog caught 3. With a dog like that, you don't need nearly as many shells. I miss that one a lot.

Not that I've seen. I'll take hunting anything with those girls over by myself tho. Success rate drops drastically but it's always more fun.
