Please indulge me one last time for 2019, I promise....lol......Just very excited that I placed 4th in the S.E. Call Makers Competition turned trumpet category (with a new hollowed bell) model.....And congratulations to my friend, and local call maker Anthony Ellis as well for placing 3rd in the turned trumpet category.

Wow, I didn't know they were from these parts too, Cleveland is 15 minutes from me, better keep an eye out for Kevin in these mountains....lol....You have won so many trumpet awards Anthony that it is probably getting old for you, for me just getting "on the podium" with guys like you is still very cool.

Thanks Chris, yeah I am fortunate to have placed that is for sure. I entered Cocobolo & African Blackwood trumpets, they were both a new design I created recently with a hollowed out bell, slightly modified internals and different length as well. Heck, I wish I knew which trumpet placed, I don't see anything specific that would tell me that. Both were shop mules that I was using for testing......Greg
