Hallorans 20th anniversary call

I was at his booth last weekend- it is a great sounding and looking call. Ran it side by side with a Crystal Mistress ( that's what I already have) to compare it to. Compared to the Crystal Mistress- it is a little more mellow on the front end with more rasp one the back end.

Im tossing around ordering one. I love the sister and mistress but really did not care for either of the metal mouths. I dont know. May wait for some of you to review it.

I ran one at Nashville and it was my favorite he had available. He had a couple red slates tucked back that I played and liked really well as well, but that 20th anniversary pot was purty and sounded pretty good.

If I went to Nashville and played the anniversary call, I probably wouldn't have ordered one. The original mistress and twisted sister are way better calls imo. It does have more rasp than the original mistress, but all around the original is a better call. I have/had the original mistress, zebra mistress, and flamed elder mistress and the anniversary edition is my least favorite of them all.
I liked both versions of the metal mouth more than the anniversary edition mistress.
I know others like it, but I was underwhelmed with the anniversary call

Thanks for the honest review. The mistress and sister are 2 calls that would be hard to beat.

Well I broke down and got one. All I can say is I dont love it. Sister and mistress have set the standards and Imo it does not run up there with them. Some of you guys may love it but it was not for me.

Took a nice Osceola with the new Metal mouth 2 yesterday... really enjoy the sound of that call.
