Gobble!

Had another preseason project I've been wanting to do. I have a DSD upright hen that I purchased it back in 2008. The years have not been good to it. Lots of paint damage. Considered going to walmart and getting paint but decided to get the touch up kit from DSD.

The kit came with brown, black, white, copper, and green paint. Instructions recommended applying with an air brush. My buddy had one I could barrow and it was definitely the better option. Paint was already air brush ready. The copper and green had a nice shine to it that really gave the decoy a good touch though its not really visible in the pictures. I was able to mix the white and black to get grey for the head. Would have been nice to have a little pink but got by without. Came with enough paint to touch up the decoy at least 10 more times. Overall I was happy with the $25 to get the paint delivered to my door. Could have done a little better but it will work.

And now that Confederate Railroad song is going through my mind.

Turned out great!

**full disclosure- as I was reading the narrative, my eyes caught the 1st couple of picks under it as I read (tablet). I was thinking "hmmm, that's not all that good". Then I realized I was looking at the BEFORE pics - DUH! Lol

Nice work!
