Which sight for Turkey gun

I'm thinking about throwing a sight on my shotgun that's used for Turkey, rabbit, and squirrels. My question is what do people like? Red dot, holographic sight, scope, front fiber optic?? What's everyone's recommendation for sight and particular model you'd recommend.

Have have both the Eotech 512 and the Holosun HE510C-GR and both are great sights IMHO.

Built a dedicated turkey gun 25 years ago and I put a Bushnell Trophy 1.75-4x32 Circle-X Shotgun Scope on it to begin with, never a issue with it and would never be without a scope on my turkey gun(s).

Those are fiber optic right?

Yes. They are fiber optic. There are 2 different types for the tru-glo. The magnum series are all metal. Cost bout 50 bucks

I'm leaning fiber optic simply because I'm afraid a scope or red dot would be in the way for trying to acquire quick closer range rabbit shots

I would go with the pro series Magnum gobble dot sight. It would be a nightmare to shoot rabbits or wing shoot with a red dot mounted imo.

Dead ringer beard buster is another good option. I have one on a youth model 870 20ga and its unbelievable how well I can bust clays with it. Even using my undertaker choke, now that turns a skeet into dust.

Uhhh I think I may of "screwed the pooch" for everyone's responses, but the one old shotgun I'm looking for sights for doesn't have a vent rib barrel. It's tapped in the back for like rails and stuff and has a front bead, but the barrel is smooth round, not vent rib or anything. Most of your choices mount to the vent rib, sorry guys. Any other options?

 The optics mount on a picatinny or weaver rail. They'll mount to the base your gun is drilled for just fine.

Optics yes, but we had decided that rabbits and wing shooting would be a pain with optics mounted so we went in the fiber optic direction. However with having a smooth barrel it messes up some of the fiber optic suggestions.

Of course there's reasons for optics besides iron. Fellows have varying eyes. Myself included so perhaps that's why I relate.

To the op. The answer is no gun is gonna be a wingshooter and a dedicated turkey gun wearing an optic. That needs to leave your head.
Either buy a barrel w ribs if iron sights are an option. There I used Williams Fire Sights, the ghost ring style being my favorite.
If not Jrrodc made good recommendations. Course you could could always use a scope.
There's no perfect answer except one. Buy another gun.

Will most likely just throw a long fiber optic over barrel sight on the front and call it a day. It'll work for no matter what I'm hunting.

Thinking about grabbing one a these and putting on it. Figure they would be more visible than a plain bead but still allow me to use the gun for multiple species.
