% of multiple beards?

As stated, I think that it is genetic and depends on where you hunt.  I have never knowingly saw a multi-bearded bird much less killed one even though I have taken my fair share of birds.  I would love to kill one though....maybe some day.

April 2018  The single beard is 10 3/8".  The multi is 10 11/16", 9.5", 8.25", 7 7/8".  I got one in 2013 with 5 beards about 200yds from where I got this one.

In NY, I haven't come across one yet. However, I have seen bearded hens. My only double bearded kill was a Rio from Texas.

I agree. In the portion of central FLA that myself and friends hunt, I only know of one double beard being killed. In other areas of the country, friends of mine have killed multiple multibeards. So I think it is for sure genetic.
