Pat Strawser Laminated/Red Slate over Glass... My 1st Red Slate and it has totally different pitch that any slate pot I've played

What is the pitch difference between the red and green / gray slates paul? Can you send me or post a soundfile?

Nice looking calls, I want to get a red slate eventually myself. I really like that striker in the top picture, what kind of wood is it? Edit: Never mind, missed it at the top, Bocote Striker.
