Remington long vs short barrel pattern?

Curious if anyone has compared patterns of Remington 870 with 28" barrel vs 21 or 23" super mags at 50ish yards?

I had a 28" barreled 870 back in the day, and ran an old school .660 jellyhead choke with Remington Wingmaster HDs #6...I now run a 23" 870 with a .660 Sumtoy and Magblends. Patterns are a little better out of my current set up. I don't think you'd be disappointed in going to a shorter barrel.
