Has anyone had a chance to try one of these yet? They still seem to be out of stock everywhere.

I'm debating going this route instead of having my gun drilled and tapped.

My gun is not new, nor is it drilled and tapped. Hence the reason Burris introduced this 20 gauge specific mount.

I'm not sure it's been introduced yet. I modified a SBE mount for my gun.

Yep used one this season. Modified the steady grip to accept it. Worked great. I couldn't find one before the season. None of my uncles distributers had any either so on Amazon I had it set to notify me when one became available and snatched it up when it did
