I will start by saying I love Remington's!! I have always shot them, I bough an sx3 longbeard 12 gauge an immediately fell in love!! Shortly after I bought a second and it was an sx4 in bottomland. I have 2 buddy's that own a versa max and I by no means am knocking them!! The Winchester's are probably the best I have shot, they shoot straight and are imo the softest shooting and reliable guns I have shot to date. They pattern great and shoot everything you put in them. I had bought several $1,600 shotguns and to find they don't shoot straight and aren't very reliable with field loads was very disappointing to say the least. I personally would by far get the Winchester! Again this I just my experience and I am not dissing any other guns. Good luck!!!!
