Looks like you had a great trip

That, we did !!!

But, but, but, your guns arn't camouflage! You must be using some kind of witchcraft! lol Congratulations to all of you, especially that young lady.

Heck yeah, fine week for sure.

Nice stretch this year, man.  Those abundant times sure do make up for the lean years/stretches of time.

I guess, the biggest satisfaction of this trip was threefold..............

My fairly recently retired brother is just in the process of getting his feet wet in the spring turkey hunting game.  He's a demon in the fall and has been for years.  But had only ever harvested one spring bird (a Texas Rio) before.  I  gave him the 1300 he uses when he retired.  So far.............4 shots...........4 spring birds.  Not your typical intro to spring turkey hunting for a Pennsylvania boy.  It was nice to spend a couple weeks together chasing turkeybirds together.

The Wyoming part of the trip was entirely phone and cyber-scouted. Talking on the phone to a couple very helpful strangers and Google satellite.  An OnX HuntMap chip in my Garmin and away we went. It had been 42 years since my feet were on Wyoming soil. All the homework SHOULD have paid off the first time I hit a boxcall while we were still driving around scouting.............if only the birds hadn't been so ignorant.

The Nebraska part was a re-deux........... Last time I was in Nebraska was in 2014. We got in the first day the municipal airport was open after their "storm of the century"............ +/- 2 feet of snow the 3rd week of April. We were to hunt 5 days, but ran for our lives on our third morning ahead of the next 15"-18" that was coming. On day two, with 2 NE tags in my pocket, I let a Merriam's longbeard walk at 30-some yards because I was looking at a pair of nicer birds. Figured I had 3 more days to git r done. Hahaha................... Nope.

So this trip provided the satisfaction of homework well done paying off and some redemption for past stupidities...............

Trip of a lifetime and one not soon forgotten.
