Shifting points of impact have been reported in the past.. Some of those people chose other loads and problems went away. You could try it.

 I was one of the guys with poi problems with the LB. It wasn't just a little either and I wasn't the only one having the same results. I haven't shot them since. Most cases were with super tight chokes. I talked to one guy that was using them and he had missed a gobbler. He test fired a few more rounds and sure enough said they were hitting here then there. He told me it was his new red dot sight and that it had to be fried or messed up already. I asked what choke and loads he was using and he said a really tight custom choke and LB shells. So of course I told him my findings and told him it could be those shells in that super tight choke. Naaah he said his new sight will be in shortly then he'll get after them again after getting her redialed back in. I didn't bump into him for probably a month or so after season was out and asked him how it worked out. He said not good. He had called in another bird and missed again and never got another shot at one. So he reshot paper and the poi was once again all over the place with the same shells. He agreed it had to be them.

Here is one thing to try...... He some one load or not load your gun and hand it to you...... So when you aim, gun goes boom or not..... If you 100% don't know if a shell is in the gun..... You will tell right when you pull the trigger if you flinch or not......

I've been with people and used this...... It's an eye opener..... Sometimes on hunting videos they pull trigger gun movers 3-6" and doesn't go BOOM....... OPPs.....

Try it, sometimes it can happen to seasoned shooters.....

I do this exact thing with my stepson.   He has the world's WORST flinch when he shoots-at game or not and it doesn't matter if it's turkeys, deer, even at waterfowl when you shouldn't even have the chance to flinch.  I always randomly close the chamber empty.  It's almost comical to watch him flinch like an epileptic. Lol

Sounds like a lot at guys should go to a 20 gauge.
That or get to the range with some field loads and practice and practice.

My new 11-87 did the same with LB's two different chokes and cap was tight so I bought a Stoeger and same shells shot great out to 50 yards on a target nice pattern.

Had heard about something like that with a guy changing the chokes and he said that worked for him.Was a while back on this forum.
I had tried 3 guns and different chokes and had no luck.
Longshanks on here did some extensive shooting and chased the same problem.
Maybe he will chime in?
With the petals also falling off the overshot card and the rattlers from broken resin , I just gave up .
