We headed back out to the property I shot my last one on Tuesday and were greeted by at least 3 birds gobbling, 2 were only about 100 yards out.  After the first couple soft yelps I gave them they really got fired up.  They both hit the ground and really started rolling out the gobbles with some double gobbling.  Soon I could tell they were headed our  way and the last gobble was just below our ridge about 60 yards out.  I then noticed my dad tighten up on the gun and saw 2 longbeards heading up our side of the ridge.  As the first bird passed by my dad shot the second bird, done again at 6:20.  This makes 2 Years in a row I have been able to get my dad a birthday bird.

22.6 lbs
10 1/4 beard
Both spurs right at 1 1/4

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.
