Quote from: tomstopper on April 13, 2018, 06:26:18 AMIf you're interested in reading a compilation of entertaining turkey hunting stories, Bad Birds by Jim Spencer is a good read (not as serious as all the other books that are going to be mentioned). Sent from my XT1710-02 using Tapatalk

Quote from: The Southpaw on April 13, 2018, 11:12:08 AMIt's not specific to turkey hunting, although there is turkey hunting in it, but Meat Eater by Steven Rinella is a book that every hunter should read. It is simply fantastic.

It is simply fantastic.I will second that. One of the very few "professional" hunters I will pay attention to. Listening to one of his podcasts as I type this. He is a very intelligent and well spoken fellow that addresses the deeper issues of hunting and conservation. He would be the type of fellow I would happily share a tree with.
