I always enjoy reading how everybody chooses to hunt, what they feel is their own personal line that they've determined is beyond fair chase. I personally don't draw other people's lines for them but in most scenarios what you think is "too far over the line" is not for somebody else. I'm curious, in the following comparison which would be the harder feat?  If you chose to comment, please don't be self aggrandizing or disrespectful of others.

1.  Calling in a mature Tom and shooting with a gun or shooting a jake with a bow without a blind?

2. Calling in a jake and shooting it with a gun or shooting a mature tom from within a pop up blind.

3.  Fanning a Tom or shooting a hung up Tom at distances well beyond 40 yds with loads intended to do so.

I would think shooting a Jake with a bow without blind would be the hardest.

X2 Any bird with a bow / without a blind

The items in cat 1 are the hardest in my book. A mature tom called in and killed without a blind or decoy with a recurve or longbow would be tops to me.

1.  Calling in a mature bird and shooting with a gun

2.  Shooting a mature bird from a blind

3.  Fanning a mature bird.

Not sure what aggrandizing is so I hope I wasn't.

Both scenarios in #1 are harder than any of the others in any combination

I think
1.  Jake with the bow no blind
2.  Mature gobbler from blind
3.  Fanning an old gobbler

With overall hardest being jake with a bow without a blind.

Shooting a Jake with a bow without a blind would be the toughest in my opinion.
After that would be calling a mature Tom in without the aid of a decoy or blind.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
