My season starts the 14th. I'm off the first week. Man it's still cold! We had snow last week that finally melted, and now they're calling for 3-5 inches Saturday. This is one of the coldest starts to a spring I can ever remember. The birds are still kind of flocked up and I'm not really hearing any gobbling. I saw one strutter about two weeks ago. The first week is going to be a challenge.
Hardly any greenup is going to make for some tough setups. Only plus is you can see the snowball and fan a mile away. My experiences in cold starts like this our multuple gobblers coming in together, often silently. We'll see.
