I think that's why you are seeing some low count Federal patterns. People are trying to use the knowledge gained with handloaded TSS shells, that those loads like more open chokes, but the Ferderal TSS loads like tight chokes.

My hand loads all like a more open choke with the exception of a Indian creek choke. My 20 ga Benelli shooting a 1-5/8 ounce tss #9 load was devastating with a Indian creek.555
