Long beards

I have a Mossberg 500 Turkey 12 gauge that I have been content with for a few years . It has the factory XX Turkey choke.
After reading posts and looking at pics on all the different combos I decided maybe Im not patterning as well as I should .
In other words yall cost me money lol.
So I just purchased a Carlson's Long Beard XR .660 and some Winchester Long Beard XR shells. Got some 5's and a box of 6's  3" 1 3/4oz to try out . Also I have some Federal Grand Slams and som of the left over Mag Shoks.
I would be patterning it untill friday I hope so ill keep yall posted on how it works out.
Any thoughts or advise is appreciated.

Don't disregard that XX Full Turkey choke.  Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it is a .670 that comes with the 500.  Longbeard's shoot incredibily tight, so the XX Full just might be the ticket with those 3 inchers.  Good Luck and keep us posted.

You are correct its a .670    Illl test those Long beards with both cokes.
