Electronic hearing protection for hunting

I've read a lot of old posts on this, but wanted to bring it up again because technology changes so rapidly. Just looking for good suggestions for both muffs and ear bud style digital hearing protection while hunting. I have some Howard leights but they become uncomfortable after extended wear. I've heard good things about the 3m brand with gel cups added. I respect the choice of those who go without, but for me I've got tinnitus and loud booms hurt my ears.

I have a set of a Caldwell electronic muffs work great for trap shooting I have not used it for hunting yet but they sure do enhance the sound.no problem hearing people talk .but muffle the shot perfectly

ESPs all the way.  They are expensive but they work and you will NOT find better customer service.
