Dissapointed with the honesty of some members on the board

No dog in this what so ever... but since this laundry is out for public viewing / opinion -

I'd say OP has a right to be disappointed with the "merchandise" if it wasn't up to standard or as described - intentionally or otherwise; but when offered a full "refund" (exchange) and refuses that refund, that ends it. Case dismissed.

Yes sir ,
No doubt he is upset ,  but that just sucks as his call showed up cracked , it is what it is
The truth is the seller has offered him OVER and OVER  again his box back and is going above and try to do the right thing
If he doesn't want to send everything back , then the deal is done , end of story

The big question is , why bring all this on here for everyone to see , both of you guys are honest men , sort it out , your not trying to screw each other over ,  it really is pretty simple to solve ,

Almost hilarious that the title of this thread is about the honesty of some members and yet alot of very important facts were out of the posts until TJ posted. Wonder how long he would have left them out had TJ not showed up to defend himself.

Oh yeah? What facts were those? I didn't lie about anything. Must be one of TJs buddy's just showing up.

I'm honest and forth coming about what ever I sell. TJs definition of things must be a bit different than normal.

Nope I have never met or dealt with TJ but I hope one day he and I make a deal.

Facts.
-you were offered multiple times to return the calls and get yours back.
- you refused to trade back as offered
- you tried to swindle him out of more merchandise even though you refused to return calls
- you got angery and said some shady stuff like "ball is in my court"

So you say you did not leave those facts out until TJ posted them? That is true dishonesty and to think it came from a member here. Haha. If you had posted the whole truth and all facts Shannon would not have posted on this thread but then again if you posted the whole truth you wouldnt have gotten much empathy just like TJ didnt give you huh.

The very top of the page says "resolved". Doesn't it? People are quick to judge, I have been guilty of doing so myself. You apparently don't know everything about the situation. There was also another issue that happend that you know nothing about.

This is in the past in my book. TJ and I actually talked a lot and its unfortunate that everything happend the way it did. There are a few things I wish I could take back, but I can't. I have character flaws like everyone else. 

I accepted the deal and I'll live with it. TJ and I will likely not deal with each other for a while if ever. Sounds like you need to find you a hobby instead of trolling. TJ is a big boy and can defend himself.

My grandfather started a furniture business 70+ years ago that is still in business to this day. It never ceased to amaze me how often after we delivered a piece and then left the customers home we'd get a phone call. It usually went along the lines of "I noticed a  scratch, dent, crack, etc. and wanted to see if you can give us a discount".  Our standard response was "we're terribly sorry to hear that and want to make sure you get the piece you want. We're happy to come back to exchange it for a new one, fix it, or if you're not completely happy give you a full refund". Most often people would say "it's not that bad, how about a 15% discount instead?" 

Sometimes people are just looking to get a little more than they paid for.

I hope OG forum members do not trend towards this type of DRAMA in the future. I am sure there are better ways to resolve things than to publicly post on the forum.  It appears that the one party offered to reverse the deal by returning everything to the original owner and the problem would have been resolved. I can not see tarnishing someones integrity by posting on the forum when all of the facts are not laid out. Don Friday's quote: "Just the facts ma'am".
