Not a big one, but he's scored. 14 lbs 5oz. 1 1/16 spurs and 8 13/16 beard. Nice dark wings though.

Both were public lands. My first location didn't work out, lost 2 days walking in no man's land. Talked to Derek, he convinced me to try a new wma. Drove almost 2 hours that morning to get to the other wma, walk in find a bird. Derek gets there that afternoon, next morning walks in and walks right into one. Lady luck was smiling on us for sure

Great job.  I've never been, but have heard the Florida public land can be some tough hunting.
