Go to where you plan to hunt before sun up and sit in a high spot and listen. If you hear a bird make a note of where he's at. Chances are he'll roost in the same area unless he gets bumped out. If gobbling is slow give an owl call a few hoots. Plenty of videos on YouTube of guys using an owl hooter. Mid morning take a walk and look for leaf scratching and turkey crap. Clover is sure bet in the spring. Giver owl call a hoot every once in a while when walking so you don't accidentally bump a gobbler. Make mental notes of areas with fresh scratching. Also keep an eye out for dusting pits. You'll know it when you see it. Loose dirt with tracks and feathers where birds have been dusting. Great spot to kill late day birds.
