Here's one I made. Congrats to your son!

I recently did six call with pictures for a turkey hunter in Mississippi.  The calls were presents for family and friends.  All of the calls were made of matching Kentucky walnut and matching walnut strikers.  All of the calls were two sided with glass/slate. Two of the calls have called in turkeys this spring season.
Two of the calls were for his two sons.  Both were birthday presents.

This one was for a first turkey killed.

This is a first turkey killed for the other brother.

This was another call in the group.

All of the calls had the primary side un-etched so the pictures were completely clear. The secondary side was playable as it was slate.

Here is a picture of the other side on one of the calls.

Finally, here is a picture of one of the call I used this spring.

Good luck in your search .
Thanks for looking and have a great spring turkey season.

Blacky makes a nice one too.  I don't know how it sounds cause I won't scratch it up! It was a gift and the photo inside means a lot to me. ;D

If you buy some rain chalk, you can use your glass/crystal calls and not have to etch or scratch the surface to be able to play it.
