i went from working 14-20 hours a week in March to working 60 hours a week in April. Glad for the work, but it wreaks havoc on turkey season. Looks like it is gonna slow down some in the next few days, so maybe i can still smoke one. Almost 2 weeks left in the season. Congrats on all the great birds you folks have been killin.

I hear ya on the work thing.  Sometimes the only thing to do is call in sick.  And be sure to use the phrase "explosive diarrhea".  That stops all questioning quick.

good luck. I was trying hard to end my CA season today. The gobbler had other ideas. He flew the road and strutted out in the middle of the field until I had to go to work.
