Just snagged this one today..... a safe queen. 26 in Barrel. I've been looking for one of these for a long time.

SKFOOTER

Congrats!  I have one just like it as well as the 1187.  Their both in pristine condition and in the vault. :turkey2:

It is like new...the bolt face doesn't have a mark on it. I will most likely hunt with it.

Congrats, nice pickup!!!! I would love to find one.

Dr Juice

Congrats - great catch. I have an 11-87 in the green leaf mossy oak that I picked up in '95 and it's quite reliable!  Good luck with it.  :turkey2:

I also have a black one from the same year...I'm going to pattern them both and see how they compare.

nyhunter

I have the same exact gun, it patterns awesome, with 3" 1 3/4oz #5 Winchester LB and a gobblin thunder .660 choke

#11
Thanks for the tip

nyhunter

it also patterned great with H-13 3" 2oz #6's and a jellyhead '660. I only chose the longbeards because there easier to get for me.

gtrjames

I patterned the black one last year with the H13 2oz 6 thru a Hevi 13 choke and it was really good.
