New stock on a old favorite

I just got the ShurShot stock installed on my old 870 LW 20 gauge express Magnum. I have to say it feels like a brand new gun. Feels great in the hand, easy to control, and looks great. There is one problem the comb is so high I cannot get down on the bead so it shoots high. Anyone else have this problem? If so were you able to fix it if so how did you? Thank you

Got 2 20's with ShurShot stocks. I use optics, specifically the ff3's and the high comb is perfect for these. First year I didn't use an optic but used Williams Slugger Sights which set up a little higher off the vent rib and they were usable but still not as comfortable as the FF3's.

Had the same problem here. Went to rifle sights but found out the hard way old eyes can't focus on three things at once but they worked great.

I fixed it by adding a Simmons pro diamond. Got the base, rings and scope for right around $100

What red dot you have? I was looking at the site mark ultra shot plus QD, Bushnell trs 25, or Truglo true brite. Anyone have experience with any of these? I would have to buy a vent rib to rail conversion which ain't but $10.
