Ok, I thought he meant he killed both. Sounds like a great hunt, only thing better than a guy having the thrill of bagging a Tom is two guys having the thrill.

We can't kill two a day here. Done it in KS. My son and I killed 3 in one day and had the 4th at 10 yards, but passed cause I wanted to tag out with the bow. Rusty killed a nice triple beard in the morning and a toad of gobbler That afternoon. It was 20 something pounds and had 1.5 inch hooks with a rope.  That was an action pack day too. I've been lucky to be blessed with a bunch good days in the woods and a few great ones.

We can kill two per day and three for the year. Glad we do not have a one per day rule, could make for some long days if you kill one early! Killing two early makes the day go great though.

Awesome! Doubles aren't legal here, which has it's pluses and minuses. Tough to let them walk, fun to target them again.

You have to give details, you can't say something like best hunt ever and not give a story!

Little more in depth write up of the weekend but includes that hunt.

Interesting thing about this one is I thought he was dead until I picked him up. He had one last kick in him and I ended up getting stitches between my thumb and forefinger from his spur.

2014?

Think I put this up last year. Such not a pic keeper guy unless it involves kids. This was a fun morning though. 4-4

My first turkey. I was 13 or 14. Called in four, 3 jakes and a gobbler. This one was closest and I wasn't picky back then.
