Based on Blackriverhunter's OG profile showing a South Carolina location and the fact that ncturkey posted in,  I'm gonna guess that ShotgunDave is probably the mystery Head Hunter who took that bird.

Whats up fellas!?  Yeah thats my bird shot in SC this morning.  I'll post more pics and the score/stories later this afternoon.

How is a double beard scored?  Does just one of them get counted?  How does that work?  Thanks!

Odessa

Congratulations, and a double beard too, congratulations again!  :z-winnersmiley:
"I admire a good turkey hunter chiefly because such a man displays qualities that we usually associate with pioneer America-patience, enthusiasm, woodcraft, game sense, and a quiet hardihood undaunted by rain, by cold, by long tough miles, by disappointment."

Take separate pictures showing the measurement for each of the two beards.  Also you need to take another picture with the feathers folded back showing the skin separation between the bases of both beards.  You should probably score each beard individually, list them both on your score sheet and then add them into your total score as Beard#1 and Beard #2.  Beards are a X 2 multiplier for the total.  Or if you use the OG scoring calulator, add the two beard lengths together and enter the sum total into the calculator.

Congrats on an awesome bird Dave!

Ok I took measurements and pictures of both beards but I didn't take a pic with the feathers pulled back.  I cut the beards off as one piece so they are still seperate.  Will that work?

WOW! Congrats Shotgun....... That'll make a great score!

ShotgunDave

Pics are uploading now fellas.  The stats are 20.26 lbs, 7/8" and 11/16" spurs, 10.5" and 8.5" beards.  If I did it right his score is 73.885

I've got pics of the beards and spurs that I'll post in the scorecard thread.
