870 youth vortex venom install issue

I had my youth 870 drilled and tapped for a mount. The gun smith mounted the rail and when I tried to install sight, I couldn't get it to sit. Apparently the slots in the mount aren't wide enough to accept the dot. Any ideas?

I think i have heard about this problem on the forum before , you may want to do a search on the forum. I think i remember it takes a different rail... i know this isn't much help, you may get a little more help if you ask this under the general part of the forum... good luck

take a rat tail file and file the slot.
