Looking to add a long box to collection. Any recommendations, suggestions for call maker and wood combo's ? Thanks....

Al Shoemaker you cannot go wrong but I would also add Jeff McKamey of Twisting Creek Game Calls. My Kwila/Butternut is top notch.

If you are really serious about a long box but don't have much experience with one you may consider picking up a used one on this site.  There are some great deals to come along if you keep your eyes open.

I have that box and it's very good. Lots of fellows say it's a favorite. I like his bloodwood/mineral poplar better and a friend had similar results. Both very good calls and everyone likes dif things in a call
