LB choke pattern well with other shells?

Well I going to be buying 2 chokes for my sxp I'm going to buy the Carlson ported turkey choke and the Carlson long beard xr choke and see which patterns better of the 2 I know they say the long beard choke works best with LB shells but my question is are y'all shooting other shells from your long beard choke with great results?
