The actual sheath part of the holster is 9 1/2" deep.

I believe we possibly could do a 3-4 inch dropped front for you ........

Hey Greg - Here is my Snodgrass longbox in one of Yoder's holsters. The fit is perfect, and easy to pull. Hope this helps. I've said it before and I will say it again - I put both the long and short box holsters through their paces last spring across two states, and these holsters are absolutely built tank tough.

Sorry, fellows.    But as of this morning, I'm temporarily sold out of the short box holsters.

Still have some longbox holsters on hand.  More shortbox holsters are already in the works.  So, I'm hoping to have them back in stock in 1-2 weeks.

If you were wanting a shortbox holster, go ahead and shoot me a PM and I'll get you on the list as first come first served.

Are the longbox holsters still the same dimensions as last year?

For the time being.........yes.   

I think, possibly, the next run will be a whisker bigger.  Some have been concerned with the initial tightness.........which is intentional and does result in a perfect fit after break-in.........     So I believe we are going to shoot for a happy medium that will be a bit easier to use right away, yet not sacrifice too much once broken in.

Our current run of longbox holsters is in and they are a bit larger inside than the originals.  They will NOT fit a Watkins fiddle paddle.  I do know that (although there may be a holster to fit calls of that general dimension in the works).  But the new size DOES fit some of the paddle callers that previously would not go.

Have a fresh batch of short box holsters on hand as well as the new hen box holster which I will detail in another post.
