Frank Cox Green Hornet

Hi Gents,

I'm curious on a rough estimate of the current value of a Frank Cox Green Hornet.  I've not seen one sell for some time, and if I remember correctly the last one I saw went for somewhere around 800-900?  Does this sound right?  Thank you for any feedback.

Good assessment. I have seen them $800 to near $1700 .
Personally I would try to get funds together on one end but would not try at the other. Just my thoughts as I wouldn't be trying to resale any time soon. At least I had to quit hunting !

It depends on if its one of the ten light green translucent ones or one of the 100 dark green opaque ones.  The dark ones around $900 and a lot more for the other.

Thank you for the feedback, gents - most appreciated!  I've never seen one of the light green ones up close - only in pics.  Very cool looking piece.  These Hornets are simply wonderful calls - beautiful design, beautifully tuned and with a great, substantial feel in the hand.
