This is a beautiful little single-sided box from Dave Tyree. It was made for me in 2003 and features a wormy chestnut box and a beautiful purpleheart lid.
The call is very well built, plays great and is high-pitched - think of it as a short box that plays like an aluminum or glass pot call. It is also very easy to modulate the tone by gripping the call in different places as well as by varying the grip pressure - very responsive.
It is in mint condition and has never been outside my home. Stored in a controlled environment and in total darkness so the colors are bright and vibrant.
