Schaffer Alum/Alum Other Than Sapele?

What alum/alum pot do you guys recommend other than Sapele?  I have this combo and it is awesome, but curious to try it in another wood.  Also thinking about getting an Atomic 13.

I have an Atomic 13 and a tiger Maple aluminum over aluminum from Jimmy. Different sounds in the two but both killers.

You can't go wrong with the 13, try it and I think you'll like it. I think it has a higher pitch to it.

Ok, definitely getting the Atomic 13.  So much talk about it on this site I have to try it. 
Just need to figure out the alum/alum now.

Atomic 13 is one to get. Great call, I've had crazy luck w it.
I have the sapele and a canarywood/redheart laminate aluminum/aluminum that sounds real good but why not just call Jimmy n have him run some for you?

I think I am going to give him a call in the next day or two.  Wanted to give him some time to respond to my e mail, and check with you guys as to what you recommend in the mean time.

Just spent over an hour talking with Jimmy on the phone. Great guy to talk shop and turkey with. Well, two calls turned into four... He ran his new prototype over the phone, and after about the first three yelps I knew I was buying one. He has one piece of tiger maple left and recommended I get it with alum over glass, so I am getting that too.  Also getting an Atomic 13 and another Sapele alum/alum. Sounds like Sapele is getting more expensive and harder to come by, so I got one for a back up.

It's a laminate with canarywood and its Crystal over Slate. I'm waiting on mine too

That's it. Pretty sure he said canary/redheart/walnut. He's pretty pumped about it.

I can't make a comparison, because I don't have any of them. From what I could gather this maybe one of, if not his best yet though.

Maybe someone else can chime in on what they heard/know?

Would love to hear. Eventually one of Jimmy's glasses or crystals is on my "to buy" list. My first from him was the Sapele alum/alum and its just plain awesome!

You will probably start seeing posts about it around the end of July. That's roughly when the prototypes will get shipped out, and guys on here get them in their hands.

He told me it has a throatier sound than the mad hen 2.  He sent me pics on the phone, it's a looker!
Too bad I just can't swing it right now.
