new H13

Last year H13 #7 has B&P wad this year I am not sure but I cut one open and it is definitely different. Anyway out of my gun, 870SM, the 3.5" #7 shot near 300 with pure gold 670 with old H13. New H13 around 250. Still good but wondering if anyone has gone thru the whole patterning game with the new stuff and found out if it likes more open chokes or tighter chokes as a rule.

Some on here have experienced differences and some claim to have not. The consensus "bad lot" is 300488. There are now patterns showing up in the 300's again with 300514's and newer lots.

I just checked the box I have, 300500. I guess it's a "older bad lot"?

Shoot them and see. All I have shot is the 300324's. I've got a couple boxes of 300514's that I'm not worried about after seeing others' posts on here.

Shoot them and see ,give them as good  a chance as last years shells clean your tubes first ,ported tube collect plastic,mine are shooting at about the same or a little better numbers.
